Pat, A pdf is an Adobe propriety file and unless one has Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader) then there isn't anything that one can do with them. I have heard of some programs which may be able to, but know nothing about them. Even with Legacy one can only attach them as Video/Sound files.

Pat, I think you must be looking at Descendant Chart as distinct from Descendants or Descendant Narrative - the latter two being in the Book Reports. The Charts do not allow Events but the Reports do. To set the bullets you need to set the Events in Report OptionsInclude and then go to

Hi Pat, Always choose a image format like Tiff if available. The image is embedded in the PDF and to enhance it, you have to copy the image out of the PDF. I don't think this would be different even if you owned PDF writing/editing software although they may have some image editing software
