Do not disagree here, I wasn't quite clear as by A Hospital I meant Named

Pat,
A pdf is an Adobe propriety file and unless one has Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat
Reader) then there isn't anything that one can do with them. I have heard of
some programs which may be able to, but know nothing about them. Even with
Legacy one can only attach them as Video/Sound files.
I am trying to create a descendant report with (bulleted) events. But
whenever I click on report options the events, notes, etc., are grayed out.
I KNOW I have created this kind of report on previous occasions.
Whatever am I doing wrong??
Thanks so much for your help!

Pat,
I think you must be looking at Descendant Chart as distinct from Descendants or
Descendant Narrative - the latter two being in the Book Reports.
The Charts do not allow Events but the Reports do. To set the bullets you need
to set the Events in Report OptionsInclude and then go to

I got the note to update Legacy 6 and began to run it and then had to stop
it in midstream. Now when I try to open Legacy it says that I did not complete

the link it gives me is for Legacy 5 not 6 plus it says

Hi Pat,
Always choose a image format like Tiff if available.
The image is embedded in the PDF and to enhance it, you have to copy
the image out of the PDF. I don't think this would be different even
if you owned PDF writing/editing software although they may have some

Susan, at least for events it is possible to edit the Event type itself to

Hi Pat,
Bob's suggestion can help you find what you actually put for a Source

However, it isn't any use for Citations (Source Details) as you are

Another thing to consider - is it possible that this error was carried over

If you look in the Master Location List, you can change the

I don't know whether this is bug free as it's not something I do and
I haven't time currently to test it out. If you really want to use

Not sure how large your tree is, but if you can do a multiple descendants
