Hi Valerie,
Do you mean the merge options on the Normal Duplicate Search tab?
I use a Rule of Thumb. When in doubt or learning a feature, trust the
program and stay with the defaults.
If that gives you far too many people to look at, add more conditions.

Just discovered another problem with reports in the latest build. “Use
quoted names in narrative reports” and “remove quoted given names” do not

Hi Donna,
You can create a CD with the Passage Express button if you download

There are other ways.

If I put the [CR] in the event definition it works. But sometimes I want to
have a carriage return before the event notes (and conversely sometimes I
don't - for the same event, but different people). Therefore I don't
necessarily want the CR in the definition. The only way it works is if I

Hi Jan,
Codes in square brackets are only for definitions - sentences and the

You should be able to find your CR's in notes
Hi Donna,
There's no easier way that I know of.
Take a close look at the options in the Scrapbook and see if you can
work around it by not untagging pics.
I think you want to omit census images. If they are attached to
sources, that's easy. Just don't include source pics.

I probably misunderstood your question but if you tag the List in Events
and bring it over to the Name List that way, you could more easily
delete the ones that are Baptized but not Buried. Also there's more

1-How do you turn off the tags on a large search list?

If I understand your question -
You can merge Master Sources into one and rename it to whatever you
want. There's a large button across the bottom saying Combine
Highlighted Source with Another in the List
After you click that on the Source you want to merge, the button will
say Highlight
I think that's two questions. On the first one: Go to Edit/Tag Records
on the Main Toolbar and you'll see all the tagging options there. If
you click Make Changes on Tag 1 (it's probably already there by
default) and then click 'Everyone in Search List' it should delete that
batch.

Forget about question 1. I figured that out. BUT PLEASE RESPOND ON QUESTION 2.
