Is there a way to record multiple sources for a single event and have
them connected to the person? Sometimes you do not have a birth
certificate for a person but you have several sources which add up to
a good proof. Where is this recorded and how connected? Thanks

Hi,
I agree with what Jenny has stated, but as the AKA screen does not allow any
notes, to to explain the surname difference, I add an explanation in the notes
section of the person's birth.

I thought of that! But decided that most people, especially new/less
experienced users would be displaying the standard set, so I wouldn't
complicate the issue.
