I am a new Legacy user, and have just begun to input some aliases. Should I be
using the Surname field when it is not different? Ex: Joseph Wiley Embry is the
main name, alias is J Wiley. Should I include Embry again?

Ward & Ron,
Okay, I did some testing.
I wanted to see if I had this "second endnote" problem if I entered something
in the Text field AS I was adding the master source (since I couldn't remember
exactly what I had done).
So, I added a new master source, put it on the clipboard and cited it on on

Thanks for verifying Ron.
Tagging the deceased and then exporting that tab# seems to work OK, but I'm

Don, What I'm about to type may or may not help, but I use exclusively

However, it looks to me like the 1. and 2. at the bottom are sort of summary

Are you really wanting the birth certificate to print alongside an individual's

I currently enter my cemeteries in the event address file, which also has a

Although this approach does go against the posting about always entering the

This one intrigued me, so I tried it. What I liked better was the choice

Thanks for introducing me to a new part of the software (to me).

Ward & Ron,
First, thanks for all your diligence!! ;)
I think I'm following what you both have been saying, and I agree with the
results obtained concerning the differences in DETAIL citations.
However, just to clarify: When I originally stated the problem, all my detail

wanting to exporting your family to a pdf ? Do you mean make a report ?.
Or do you mean Charting ? A tad more information would help.
