Thank you, Alan. However, does this only affect the order in
printing out reports? I tried this but it does not bring my #1
choice up to the AKA line on the family view. The AKA I first
entered is still the one that shows up there.

Yes, it is possible to arrange AKA names
I am still using Version 6. I just discovered that the date
calculator will not accept a death date of 29 February. Does Legacy
not believe in leap year? I kept thinking I was entering the data
incorrectly but realized that 29 February was unusual. When I tried
28 February, all was well.

Sorry, I failed to give all the pertinent information. The year was
1882, clearly not divisible by 4. So, Legacy is correct in not
recognizing it and I guess the transcriber made
Is there a way to change the order of the AKAs? In the Family View,
I have one of my information fields set to show the 1st
AKA. However, now I have a second AKA that I would prefer to be the
one showing but no way to reorder the list(like you can events) so it
will be the one showing in the
detail. I am imagining that I would
override the sentence and create one that says Rubye moved from
Mississippi to California in about 1939. Can someone think of a better way?

Along these lines, when a match is found in a tree at World

My question is how do you decide which of the various names one has
is in the main entry and which are AKAs if you did not know the
person? I have relatives who sometimes use a first name, sometimes a
middle name (in the census) and I do not have birth records for
them. I also have a great
I know we have the option to change colors of various screens but I

If anyone uses the method that Geoff Rasmussen recommends for citing
sources, could you please let me know how you cite the Social

I know that he usually uses a location in reverse order for the

I seem to have a problem when adding Timelines to Chronology Reports.
