Hi Tracy,
Could you not enter the day and month on the Individual's Information page and
add 19?? in the christening/baptism notes?

I have kept my Generations precisely for the Charting. No one has come close to
the ease of use of this program. I just wish it was a part of Legacy. It isn't,
which is a shame.

I also regret there is no Digest. To get around it I filter Legacy into its own
folder and then sort mail by subject. I can then more easily batch-delete
emails by subject and individual that I do not want to read.

Hi,
I am not too web savvy and may have mis-read your problem but have you also
uploaded the graphics, photos etc that are linked on your webpage? What I did
was create a separate file with all my information, photos, data etc that
linked within it and then uploaded it as a whole.

I do it in a similar fashion, Tom. Started using Nvu, copy and paste, as it is
slightly 'cleaner'. It is a simple matter to insert images and add hyperlinks
to other pictures and data.

What I do is change the folder name containing my webpage files on my Hard

my HD instead of to a file I should have uploaded with all my data will show as

No big deal but it did throw her age out a bit when I was searching for her.
Receiving the Birth Cert cleared matters up.
IMHO using the Q date as proof of BMD or proof it was the right

I use Windows Movie Maker, importing short avi clips of family members and
converting to wmv thereby reducing 20MB files to under 1 MB.

Hi Bethany,
I still use my Generations program. Does just the things you mentions. Redraws
connecting lines etc. Price is comparable to TreeDraw. I transfer my Legacy
file as a Gedcom. Create Tree in EasyChart. Change box sizes, add info or
delete it. Save it to a file and when I open it I
I agree. Also annoying are:
Attachments.
Receipt confirmation requests.
And messages that are not 'snipped'.

I quite agree. I like Legacy but I will continue to GEDCOM my files back to Generations so I can create Trees where boxes can be manipulated at will, connecting lines automatically redraw and I can have ALL my ancestors on it not just direct lines.Roger---Original Message FollowsI would gladly
