Fixing any BC date problem is certainly needed,
How did I miss that. I was only testing the Timeline
sub-program, but since I chose the BC (Jesus) date in
my timeline choice I am being told each time I view my
person I get the error message 'Unrecognized date'. It
should recognize any date it put in?!

it. It's of no interest to me as I don't use Legacy

You can edit existing timelines and add new items to existing
timelines. On the screen where you choose which timeline(s) to add,
highlight a timeline and click the Edit button. Then in the Timeline
Editor, choose to Edit or Add an item as desired.

I set up a test case to see how it works. I named the
person Test Test. I put the birthdate as 0030 B.C.,
baptism as 0010 B.C., death as 0060 and burial as
0061. A message came up guessing (wrongly) what I
meant. I read the help screen, which says to remove
the check. It worke perfectly, with the
Wayne's timeline update prompted a question.
How does one go about using the "B.C." or "A.D." designations in creating a
new timeline. I've checked the Help files and the List Archives, but can
not figure it out. The option for entering "dates" in a timeline does not
seem to allow for only a
