Can anyone suggest a method of creating a report showing a list of individuals who do NOT have a census event listed for the 1930 census? Thanks! Gene Legacy User Group guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchab

Hello 1. How are you inputting your census info? I'd like to track the census history for families and be able to see all at one time. 2. If GenSmarts creates a list of census I should check, how can I check off that I've already done so in the Legacy 6.0 program so that it doesn't

Gene, That's an interesting one (report of individuals NOT having 1930 census event). One way is to tag everyone to start, then untag individuals who DO have a census event. 1) From Edit/Tag Records dialog, select a tag, label it "Not in 1930 census", and assign that tag to Everyone. 2) From

Thanks, Mike! That looks like an interesting approach. I will give it a try. I'm trying to list those in the U.S. who were alive in 1930, but do not have and entry for the 1930 census. I'm not sure how I would search on "has a 1930 census event", though. Gene At 03:39 PM

Gene, That suggestion I made about how to search for people with a 1930 census event was inaccurate. I said you could look for everyone who had an event-name of census and an event-date of 1930. This does find everyone with a 1930 census event. But it also includes for example someone with a

Unless Gene used the date of enumeration or the date of the census when he entered his census dates. Then he could simply search for people with an event with that date (i.e 1 June 1930). It would narrow it down a lot. Probaby could skip the Census event search, and just use the date. Of course, d
