Regrettably, all of my sources are embedded in my notes. Is it possible to view my family in split view mode with my family in both windows. Can I then view my notes for Individual1 in window 1 and then edit the sources of Individual 1 in window 2? My objective is to be able to view the notes

Simple answer: Yes. When you use SplitView, simply don't select a different family file. Better yet, make a copy of your family file, then open that one as a second file, but do all of your editing in the original. If you run into a problem you won't lose anything. Mike Michael J Method

You could copy the notes for the individual to Notepad and then edit the sources with that information displayed in Notepad. In Legacy, select the individual and open the Notes. In Windows click Start - Run, then type notepad in the box and click OK. Back to Legacy, select and copy the desired
