I've been having a problem saving a master source after editing it in order to
create a new different source.
As an example, I have many sources such as baptism and marriage certificates
that come from the same places. The only difference is that the certificates
come mostly fro

Once you have fabricated the original master source, you must cite it somewhere
at least once,
before you can use it as template for the next source. Once cited, you should
be presented with the
option to "save as a new source."

It suggests that those sources that you are editing to make a new
source are not currently attached to anyone.
Once the original source is attached to someone, when you edit it,
you should get the choice to save as a new source.

this already and every source in my list has been used in at least one occasion
each on my tree. The problem must be coming from something else. I'm wondering
if there is anything in the default settin
