Is there a way to do a bulk sort on all children so they appear in date order? I have a couple of pages (problem report) of families that need the children sorted and don't relish doing it a family at a time. Lesson learned: Other family members don't do things like I do, or GEDCOMs are nice, but

Jane, When the children show up in the Family view (with parents above), right click on any of the children and select children settings, then when the dialog opens with the children of the couple, select Sort and the children will be sorted by birth order. Hope this helps John Valencic On

Unfortunately - No. The 1/2 children will always show at the end of the list, after any children common to the two parents. Where all of the childen are 1/2 the first in the list will be the children of the highlighted parent. And you have to remember that they are not true HALF siblings -

When I have similar situations, and I want all the children to show on the Family Group Sheet, I link all the children to the current marriage IN ADDITION TO their birth parent marriage. Then in Children Settings I add the Relationship to Father and/or Relationship to Mother as Step or Biological
