Hi Elizabeth, I've been away from my computer for 36 hours. I've never seen that file before but checking, I've got similar for Legacy and lots of other programs. Googling I discover they're trace files that speed up the loading of the program and should be left alone. However, they're not cr

Cathy - I've just done the search and find, apart from the two copies of Legacy.exe I mentioned in my last email, one called: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Prefetch/LEGACY.EXE-364C9D87.pf dated yesterday evening. Do you know what this is? Presumably I should delete this too? Cathy wrote: Hi Elizabeth

Cathy - you are right. I thought that last week I had uninstalled Legacy - thus removing all copies of Legacy.exe. I then re-installed the program, but I was slightly surprised that I didn't need my Deluxe number. Now, doing the Search from the Taskbar Start button I find I *still* have two

Hi Elizabeth, The To Dos are not stored in usr files. Only settings are in the usr files. All data is in the .xxx files and all vital data is in .fdb. The other .xxx carry specific clipboards and then the IGI and RGD search data. Check that you are not working with different files - same nam

Hi Elizabeth, Perhaps just being pedantic but you don't tick a box to turn on View 1/2 kids. Right click on children in Family View and choose from the menu. These view settings are held in .usr files, not with your data. The database only holds your data and any choices that only affect that
