I've only played with the photo albums as I'm not one for printing
much out and prefer to use another program to produce photos on CDs
that can be viewed by family.
I have used the Slider Show at Family Reunions.
I've thought about, but haven't actually implemented, the idea of
helpful!

I don't like mixing up programs and data so on my XP computer I have
the Legacy program installed in the Programs Folder and keep my data

copies have the same names as the large archive copies. For most uses
in Legacy, a picture only has to be a maximum of 800 pixels wide. I
have 2,500
Legacy uses the pictures you have on your computer. If it put a copy of
the picture in its own database, the picture would be on the hard drive
twice and use twice as much disk space. (Some genealogy programs do keep
a copy internally.)
Legacy doesn't need a 300dpi scan of an 8x10 photo (20MB or
