JLB: I am using Legacy 6.0.0.179, Build Date:19 Jan 2008. I can open a Note and then drap and drop a .pdf , .doc, etc. into the Note Text Area and a shortcut is created in the Note. This works for all the text areas in Legacy. Notes Events, and Citations. Fred Schwilk San Jose, California JLB

I believe the long-awaited Version 7 will have a dedicated place for documents. Meanwhile, the preferred workaround is to attach them as "Sounds", thus: In Family View, click on the "Picture Gallery" icon Select the "Sounds" button, this opens a "Load Sound File" box.
