Hi,
I now get what you are wanting to do re reloading a saved source.
Have you put that in as an enhancement? It's quite a change as
currently you save whatever is entered on all the tabs at once. I
never use more than one tab at a time so my enhancement would be to
have the option to get rid
I have been reading all the replies to this subject with interest. I had posted
a request for a new feature in regards to the source clipboard and was told
that it wasn't necessary so I just let it drop.
I use the source clipboard a lot, I have usually around 5-6 or more sources

I think the confusion is the tabs. Ignore them! Taking the sources one at a
time to Clipboard (from the assigned sources window). Make sure you click
prompt for detail. Save them, give them a name. When you have those you
require (up to 10) all you need to do is RIGHT CLICK the clipboard icon in

You are so correct!! The 5 tabs make it appear that these are the

I'm sorry, I think I am being dense but I'm not sure what you mean.
Once I have saved all the Master Sources, I can put one or more on the
clipboard, together w

I agree - I NEVER use more than one source on the clipboard as is - but
would dearly love to have the option of 'loading' several sources but opting
to attach only one. For instance, when I am searching UK Census records on
Ancestry.com.au I often find myself switching backwards and forwards betwe

You can select 1 source from among several on the Clipboard, but it is not
straight forward. This is a method I stumbled on by accident.
1. Load the sources (up to 5) on your Clipboard; check "Prompt for Detail" on
each Source screen.

Hi Dennis,
I only ever use one Tab as I only deal with one source at a time. I
agree the other tabs are confusing until you learn that they're all
pasted at once and swapping them is simply changing the paste order.
However, the Source Clipboard is far from useless.
You can save 10 different
I agree with you on the first point. I haven't figured out a use for 5
at a time either.
On you second point about editing within the Source Clipboard, that is
possible. At least with the Source Details. Just click on the up arrow
to open it.
