Thanks, Jim. I think it would be important for the Legacy web site* to note
all these potential "losses" for when you follow their advice and export to
a new file. Otherwise, someone might blindly head off in that direction and
end up shocked when it is too late.

I can't help you on fixing the problem. I can though give you moral support.
I too had that problem when I created a master family file from multiple
family files in Legacy Deluxe 6. I deleted the to do items in the master
file.
I assume that was what caused my problem.
