Clarification: The LDS Church has announced that newFS will be freely available to everyone after all members have access. newFS is being made available first to members of the LDS Church, in a gradual rollout. All temple districts worldwide have it now except, I believe, most of Utah and Idaho.

I attended a genealogy conference yesterday in Bountiful, Utah. While there, I spoke with Geoff Rasmussen and the staff about this issue. They reported that they expect to be fully certified with new.familysearch.com within the next month. We'll see, but that is the latest news I've heard.
