For what's worth I keep all my photos (individuals, tombstones) in one folder with the file name identified as SURNAME,Given,ID. All my ID information is based on the RIN assigned by Legacy. So no matter, what it is, where it is on my HD the format of the file name is always in this format. In a

I've just started putting my pics in the Legacy picture file. For me it is simpler - for my sometimes addled brain - to have all the pics in one location. So I am beginning each pic name with an abreviated (3- or 4-letter) family surname and finishing off the name with a pertinent descript

My understanding (and it seems to work for me) is that I need to link just ONE of the pictures in the new subfolder. Legacy then knows that this subfolder holds at least one linked picture. It adds this path to the search order and it will then be able to find all the other pictures in that subfo
