Michele,
I may be thinking of something else, but I recall some discussion
after the release of V7 around the removal of multiple tabs in the
source clipboard.

I've been using the source clipboard for the last couple of hours with
no problems. I've changed sources several times and the new one
sticks just fine. Sorry - I don't have any idea what you might do to
solve the problem but someone much more knowledgable will probably

Once you have a source, including the detail, cited for any event or vital

Yes, there is. Go to the Assigned Sources where it has been used. Down in
the lower left is a button with 2 pages on it. Select the source in the
list above, click on the button and the source is copied
I no longer use Version 6. So I'm referring to Version 7,.

Tom's original reply clearly stated bottom left corner - the same as in

Firstly apologies, Mary, I have realised that I said the same as yourself-

Tom and Mary,
Are you referring to version6? I cannot find that way of doing it in
version7 as it has changed quite a lot, as far as I can

I used to do it in the old method. I have not tried it
in the new method yet.
Easy to explain by example.
Old one named 'USA, AL, Franklin, 1850'. Confirm in
use by at least one person.
Change the date to 1860. 'USA, AL, Franklin, 1860'.
The program should give two choices. They mean change

THANKS ALL! I knew there was a way - but had fallen out of using the

Go to the Master Source List (click on the Sources icon if you have it

source, then use Show List

This work-around does require a little work, but if you have a large
number of events you want to attach multiple sources to, it might save
some time.
Thanks for that John. I will give it a try next time I am attaching
multiple sources.
