Any automatically generated Drop down descendant chart will produce a
long narrow strip.
Whether or not it can be reshaped depends on what happens to lines
when you rearrange.
I can rearrange a Tree Draw chart to produce a clear Rectangular
descendant chart but the last time I look

In my opinion, Legacy Charting outstripped Legacy Charting Companion
in its very first beta release but still has a way to go to reach the
versatility of Tree Draw alt

a more fancy GUI (for better, for worse), Legacy Char
