Hi Jan, thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, it is a such problem. I would rather have a single page (double sided) than have 6-12 pages to put on the fridge, or give to other people. The initial query is for my uncles family but I would also like one starting with my grandparents. I

I agree Legacy has more positives than many, that doesn't mean it can't be improved though and I would think that the mailing list is used as a source of feedback by Legacy. While the data input is very good the reports have at times been found lacking in Legacy. Even the charting was an add-on

OK - many thanks for that - at this rate it may be just simpler to leave them as the year date as it means I would have to do the same with each year from 1841 to 1911 - it was a bright idea at the time I thought!! Maybe one day if I have a lot of time on my hands with nothing else to do!!

Add the source to one event, then on the source screen highlight the source you want to re-use, click the icon with two clipboards to add the source to the clipboard. You will be asked if you want to overwrite existing. Click on that button. Now for any event you wish to use the same source
