To the best of my knowledge, Ancestry.Com does not re-attach
sources/images. If you export a GEDCOM from your Ancestry.Com tree
and then immediately re-import it into Ancestry.Com (creating a new
tree), all links between sources and images are lost. It's not that

No, I was not aware of this, I was mainly thinking of my webpages.

I think it is in the etiquette pages (I haven't looked for a while), but in
any event, like the No HTML stipulation, it is repeatedly ignored.

Dolly,
I have been a Legacy user since version 4 and a RootsMagic 4 user as

Greetings. I'm a newbie here. I'm also fairly new to Legacy. I'm trying to
find the best way to handle my pictures before I enter many more. I started

Plus, anything uploaded on Rootsweb is uploaded to Ancestry anyway. I've had
many people contact me based on what they found on my Ancestry tree. I've never

Aren't you operating under a misconception here? Unless your photograph

Quite possibly, but the copied print will look much better than one
