Okay it is obvious no one else is experiencing my problem with screen fonts.
Brian - are you out there? Should I reinstall? I have lots of Legacy work to
do today and cannot read the existing 6 fonts.
Thanks,

I have many families with 10+ children. Incorporating birthplaces on the
family view would make it virtually impossible to view all the children at once
(something I now do by splitting them into 2 or 3 columns). I vote for knowing
who the children are, with simple options such as have been
I have this problem too. Out of nowhere suddenly my screen fonts are huge. I
try to make them smaller but it either doesn't work at all or doesnt last. I
just live with it.

THANK YOU MARILYN. Now I know the issue is not solely with me. I cannot
live with a font size of 6 when working with the screens. And, as you said,
enlarging to say a 10 for Times New Roman should not lead to giant fonts
that won't fit in the blocks.
Brian - I know you likely are not monitoring
I've tried to reproduce this but couldn't. Probably have a different setting
somewhere in Legacy.
What happens if you (In Options Customize Fonts tab) click the Reset button
and after Min. Font size you select 12 and click the Save button (bottom left)?

There are a few Reset buttons on the Fonts tab. I meant the Reset button after
Max. font size.

Evert, I tried this and the fonts reverted from Arial to New Times Roman, and
HUGE. Then I futzed with it some more and after de-selecting stretch while
resizing and then re-selecting it again, it took and held my new sizes, which
are Arial 10 (minimum) and Arial 12 (Maximum).
Thanks!
I believe the way the children list functions now with pop up list of
the details is the best combination and satisfies the issue without
having to display each child separately.

Sorry Paula. That button has been there for quite some time, since Legacy 4.
