Carl,
As somebody who regularly looks at the original Westmorland Parish Registers,
(there is no e btw.) I cannot say that I have come across that. However, I
suspect that it means supposed. Normally I have seen putative father, where
a chilld is illegitimate.

I have just updated to the latest version. When the install ran, I
encountered an error I have not seen before. I think the install
finished correctly, but I am perturbed by the error and would like to
know if this causes later issues.

I have been a user of FTM for MANY years, updating with every new release.
I have NEVER experienced the problems that Mark describes.
This is neither an endorsement for nor a condemnation of FTM or Legacy.

Thelma,
I am a little surprised that your inquiry has not yet been answered. You
only need to select the individuals, and you then use the options on the
Address label Report screen to select which other fields you wish to
include.

The label report screen has very few choices. I looked at the nametag
report screen and it has choices as to which tag# you want to use. My
questions still remain unanswered. Is my program not showing all choices as
it should?

There are 6 tabs of options for what/where/how/etc for Address Labels.
Are you sure you've looked at them all?

I looked at all the options. I also looked at the master list of addresses
and you have to tag each one separately. I have several hundred families in
a family reunion and I don't want to have to tag each one indivdually. I
also want to be able to send a card addressed to the family - like John

Many Legacy users simply include these people as unlinked individuals in their
main databases. Personally I shy away from that approach. I have a “Stray”
folder in My Documents with sub-folders for unlinked individuals, small family
groups, or even stub trees of 2-3 generations.
