I've been wondering the same thing. I've just opened FamilySearch inside
Legacy and I can go to nFS as before. I thought there was a way to go
from there to Family Tree but I guess not. It's the same login but not a
connected location yet. I'm guessing when it's time Legacy will make the

For these questions re interface of Legacy with Family Search and nFS:
I'd suggest you question and discuss on the LegacyFS (Legacy Family Search)
user group.
Discussions there center of Legacy as it related to Family Search and nFS and
people there are very knowledgeable.

I've been on Family Tree for nearly a year now in beta. Yes, changes made in
nFS will also appear in FT. The only thing I have heard conflicting stories
about is whether your nFS sources will transfer. Anyone looking to check out
FT can contact me off-list and we'll see what we can do.

Legacy User Group guidelines:
This one should be relatively easy: Birth RecordsBirth CertificateLocal

I take the VERY simple approach to citing death certificate. The point is to
cite enough info so that a person could get their own copy if they wanted.
This is how my death certificates look like:
Mississippi State Department of Health, death certificate 3466 (1943), Jesse
Collon Simmons.

Michele,
The following *will not* work on the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, however, if you
have Adobe Acrobat Professional follow these steps.
1. Print your family group sheet to PDF remembering where you saved it.
2. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Professional.
3. From the menu choose FILE SAVE
Michele
1. Free software to convert pdf to rtf: http://www.nemopdf.com/pdf-to-word.html
2. online converter - one document at a time emailed back to
http://www.pdftoword.com/
3. purchase a commercial product
