Leon, Yes, it is at root level as are all the Geo* files. I think I'm going to just have to let Legacy input locations as it desires, then change everything under Options as has been discussed. Thank you to everyone for helping. I have learned from all this even if I didn't get it figured out.

There is a much easier method included in Legacy. Try Options>Customize>Data Format and then the "Apply" button in the "Letter Case of Surnames". Click "Initial Caps" first. Viola! Same thing works for other fields. Check out the other "Apply" buttons. Ron Taylor Legacy User Group guideli
