You could also search for the inquest, I suspect that there should be one.
Otherwise go with what you have, as Jenny.said.

Ron,
The death is too early for a certificate. My information is from a
newspaper report which refers to the boat he was in being "overtaken by
a sudden squall of wind which upset the boat near the Northwest Buoy"
and states that my ancestor sank immediately. Mention is also made of

I opened maintenance and tried file sorting order. Took a nano second. Then
I tried repair and it took maybe two seconds but it did do it. And the
problem seems to have disappeared.

While one is tackling the CSS learning curve, there is a quick fix for the
tiny font in the Family Links Box, which is hard to read without zooming
in.
Use an html text editor (e.g. PSPad free download) and run a global

search for size=-2

I did that. There were no missing RINs, five missing MRINs. But since it is
working now I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

What? Did you try this out ahead of time? First, the created Pedigree pages
don't even use CSS at all. They rely solely on the supposedly "outdated" tags. But as I said, these tags work just fine with any browser. With

You have this option only with the Deluxe version. If you are using the

Lucy,
If the person in the Family View page who you have highlighted was added
after the last time Legacy "rebuilt" the indexes, it would probably take
you to the first person in your name list.
Run your File/Check repair.

If the webmaster fiddles with the font-sizes so they look

Brian,
You overlook one problem, if one increases the font size alone then for
Pedigree pages, the names and details no longer fit in the boxes

Have you got the death certificate? This would normally give at least the
district. If it doesn't there would have been an inquest where the information
would have been given.

I have quite a few "on the water" locations in my file. Eg:

Kathy, I don't know if the Mersey is in a particular county - it has
Cheshire on one bank and (old) Lancashire on the other before emptying

I'll be interested in the replies though as I have someone who was born at
sea but who I have a reasonable location for.

his boat sank. Any suggestions as to how I should record the location?
(I assume his body was washed up as there is record of his burial)
