Legacy had somehow deleted by that point the individuals who I've just
discovered are missing? The most recent backup would then not contain the
records I'm missing. I had hundreds of individuals and nearly a thousand

Click the LEGACY HOME button (the first on left) and look in the top right
hand corner for Statistics, it will list number of people, families, and
sources for you.
