No it did not!
There was a fix to the links to Legacy News in the News Title bar but
the updating of the news items is not included. To see the latest news
you have to click on the News title link to open the web site.

This is a known problem. There is a problem report already submitted
about this by one of the members of the beta test group.

All good advice in this thread. Some extra thoughts based on my merge
projects:
- After each merge go through the suggested duplicates list and resolve
everything before you do another merge. And look at all the tabs so that
you can preserve links to photos, references, notes etc.
- If
Duplicates could appear for two reasons.
1. They are true duplicates, which you should be able to identify by
matching dates and links to other members.
2. They are just two people with the same name but with differing date and
no matching links elsewhere. These should not throw up as duplicates

Right, you don't have to do it all at once and again, those duplicate files
do need "resolving". It is just to make sure you don't taint the original
files and it's easiest to fix mistakes.

I still have that merge but haven't used it, am still operating on my
