Thank you. Going via Customise 9.2 solved the problem with saving. I hope

You save a colour scheme from the Options button on that Set Colour
Scheme box.
If you mean the Set Interface Colours box, I can move the other boxes so
it can be seen but if you can't, access it from Options > Customise 9.2

by opening the Marriage Information screen and saving out rather than

when I make the changes, I cannot save them because the Set Colour Scheme
pop-up box is over the save button. I try dragging the pop-up box away but
it does not move.
