When I try doing a internet search (such as an Ancestry.com search) if there is
a date field that contains a full date I get the error message Unrecognized
Date: 1-15-1993 The date on the Individual's Information screen reads 15 Jan
1993
Could this be a conflict between Canadian date format
When I converted several files to Legacy 8 from 7.5 when ever there was a day
in the month it puts a . after the day. For example

I just updated Legacy and it removed
affects the family file you have open at the
time you set that option. I really like that Legacy now tells us this
