I may sound a little unreasonable because if not for my heritage etc, doing
a family tree would be much more difficult, however it really annoys me
that we, the members are actually providing the info which allows them to
continue running their business and for that they charge us very high fees!
I think My Heritage and Ancestry are similar in that they automatically
direct debit your account each year, without notifying first. I understand
it's all in the 'fine' print.
I had a huge disagreement with them last year after they direct debited my
account and I told them they were unscrupulous
