I have two monitor screens. Is it possible to run two instances of
Legacy, one showing my file and another person's file on the second
screen (I'm not happy with the split screen as they both appear on one
screen).

If you run Legacy in a window rather than run in full screen, you can
stretch the window across the two monitors and have one file on one
monitor and the other file on the other monitor.
To stretch the window across, move the mouse pointer to the side until
it turns into a double arrow.

In the top right of any program, there are three small buttons. Click
on the middle one to make full size or restore to a window.
To stretch the window, move the mouse pointer to an edge until it
turns to a double arrow, left click and drag.
