I was operating in split screen mode between two Legacy databases. One database is for myself and my family. The other database is for a friend in the neighborhood. "And what to my wondering eyes should appear, . . ." but the same person in both databases. Is there a simple way to drag and drop

Yes, You can copy many of the Legacy Master Lists from one file to another. Go to View > Master Lists Select Event Definition for your case but other Master Lists will do as well Click the Options Button Select Import from the menu The import lists screen opens and you will see all the lists you c
