Mary, There are several errors in the three-thousand range that may popup in Legacy from time to time and they can usually be fixed by doing a Check and Repair of the family file. First, as always before attempting a repair on your file, backup the Family File (File Backup Family File) 1.

Thanks, Sherry. As I submitted earlier, the problem was solved by simply clearing the clipboard. Prior to that doing file maintenance twice didn't solve the problem. I also tried importing an earlier backup from before the error occurred and that didn't work. But clearing the clipboard did .
