I have created a .gedcom of the ancestors of a 2x grgrandmother. I am
trying to eliminate a faulty source that I don't need. Legacy won't delete
it as it is being 'used.' When I click on show List,' I am told it is
attached to Marriage Record 902.
So I do a search on MRIN = 902. I am told it
If I were you, I would back up my database then do the maintenance on
the old/current database then check to see if Legacy has deleted the
unwanted source.

Thanks -- I did that without a problem. However a weird thing is now
happening when I try to open the .gedcom.
I click on
FileImport fromGedcom.
It goes to the folder I have my .gedcoms in and I click on the file I want
filename.ged
It puts the name of the file in the Filename

I suppose I should add that I was able to delete it in the original file,
so all I have to do is put it back in correctly and create a new .gedcom.
Which I hope to be able to open. Well, I've done that AND opened it.
