I haven't any idea what this thread is about but it caused me to look at
the GeoCountyCodes,txt file on my pc.
My file has a Scottish section and includes e.g. Banff and Banffshire.
I've included a section below on the off chance that your file is
defective.

1. Copied all Geo*.txt files
2. Renamed Geo*.txt to Geo*-Alt.txt
3. In the counties file replaced all Aberdeen with Aberdeenshire and

Using Google Maps is fine, as is Bing - but ONLY for now existent, large
towns. Many of the older places are not found by either Google or Bing
