It isn't necessary to use the Relationship Calculator. All Jane needs to do is highlight the 1620 ancestor, then tag all his/her descendants. (We'll call it Tag 1). Export those with Tag 1 into a new file. Create an Ancestor Book report, with Events, for her son. Problem solved. My apologies

I wish to construct a report that gives my son and his ancestry back to only one person. Just the direct line from him to an ancestor who was in Jamestown in 1620. I would like it to list each generation's children and events. I am not sure what it is called, nor can I find a report that seems

I can think of two options that might work; they are the closest I can come with Legacy's standard report system. (1)  This option does not allow inclusion of Events.  If you want your son's surname line, all you need to do is print a vertical Lineage Report starting with your son.  Be sure

I find it very hard to believe that there is no option to do a report that shows the connections from my son back to his g, g, g, g, g, grandfather. TMG has a report called Ahnentafel - Direct Line. Is there no equivalent in Legacy? If not, that would be at the top of my list of new features
