I understand your frustration,  I started with my smaller file and had about 30 pages in a pdf, which I worked on for a while, when seemed endless, but then I decided to choose certain ones, such as  bad dates. and getting children in Chronological order, I'd chosen this options for new entries,

Lloyd, Yes, if you do not want to see all of the PP flags, turn off Option 8.11. The ability to exclude items as problems has been significantly enhanced and an additional category of problems "Gaps" has been added. I would like to point users to the last note on the Help page "Potential Problem
