I am using the newest update of the Legacy program. I decided that it was time to do some "major" clean up work in my family file... and one of the things that I am doing is checking to see that events that are marked private are really supposed to be private. I have a tendency to "grab" a bunch

Hi Gail, There are two ways you can make an Event Private. You can make just this particular instance Private by checking the tick box OR you can go into the Edit the Event Definition and make that whole Event Private. (which is what you need to do for your Found Event so you don't have to worry w

Thanks. That's what I was finding. I guess the easiest way to change it is to change the tick box on the main event screen to not private and come up with another name for those that need to stay private for the time being, or just remember to tick the box to begin with. Like I said, it was obvi
