I suppose you do realize that you can create a website direct from Legacy (v.8) here: in the menus Select Internet, then choose type of website you want from the choices. Legacy will create the pages. If you are savvy with html you can tweak them or accept what’s provided. I’m sure others will

Hi Bena, A GEDCOM (.ged) file is a plain text file, that lays out family tree data in a format that genealogy programs know how to interpret. Being plain text, you can open it in any text editor (Word, Notepad...) to look at its content, while at the same time its special layout means any
