Thank you for your reply Cathy. I followed your suggestions and I was still getting the had a relationship with someone. I could get it to change if I changed the wording in the marriage information area wording options. I was hoping to be able to do the change thought the options customise

Have you looked closely at the default marriage wording screen? There is a default wording for not married (first and subsequent relationships) for those where the spouse is both known (ie. is a real person with a name) and unknown where nothing has been entered for the spouse. Did you try

Hi Anne, In the Marriage Information Screen, have you marked that she is not married? That's the trigger to pick up the not married wording. Also on that screen you can add specific wording just for this relationship. See the Wording Options Tab. The wording in Options - Customise is to set the
