I just installed the new version, and it would not run at all.
Eventually I did a system restore to get the old one back.

when the person was a "name gatherer". He had been importing any gedcom he
could find and eventually crashed Legacy.

You may have something wrong in your database, better do a check repair.
Make a backup before you do a check repair.

Yes, I agree with you. I was a system analyst, If they let stuff through
with as many errors as this crewBut then again, I worked with hundreds of
programmers and we charged $$$thousands$$$ for the code.

Run a check/repair on your file. Select FILE > FILE MAINTENANCE >
CHECK/REPAIR. Click PROCEED. If an error is found select NO so that the
check/repair will continue. If there are errors found, run the check repair
