Hi Paul, You CAN do something about the Ribbon. There's a little arrow on the right which minimises the ribbon. Click on the a Ribbon header and the Ribbon pops up until you've chosen the function you want and then disappears again. You can also customise the Quick Access Toolbar top left. You

Paul, The first thing I did was to minimze the Ribbon bar - you'll find that makes a *big* difference in the font sizes. Right click on the menu (where the ribbon names are) and select Minimize the Ribbon If that helps, go to Options Customize and in option 1.4, select Start with ribbon
