Missed your post. I'll go back and look for it. The other main reason
for separating files is to segregate my mother's side from my father's
so that I can create the Gedcoms.

This is where Legacy is very weak. I export hedging to GenoPro & manipulate in
that program. Someone else has suggested exporting to FTM. Legacy programmers
might note the difficulty of simply and cleanly splitting entire branches of a
tree. Wendy has described a method, but it involves several

I am trying to figure out how to best separate the two sides of the
