Is the correct executable LeoApp.exe? No
At https://sourceforge.net/projects/leo/files/Leo/5.4-final/ download the
LeoSetup-5.4.exe file (7.7MB).

to be Leo_5.2-final_Win." Did you install 5.2 with a one-click install,

Why the huge disparity in download sizes among the various downloads? Do
those reference links explain that?

This doesn't work for me on win10 py2.7.13 or win vista python 3.5.2 if I
run in a python interpreter (Idle)

In the Leo documentation at http://leoeditor.com/running.html the first
line of the sub-heading says:
You can run Leo from a Python interpreter as follows:

If you used the windows single-click installer you should be able to start
Leo via the Start button> All programs> Leo.
Also, during the installation a Leo shortcut would have been created on
your deskto
I came across this whilst experimenting around my recent question regarding
saving and restoring sessions in Leo. There seems to be a problem running
with Python 2.6 and pyQt 4.8.6.
I am running Kubuntu on two different machines. If I run with python 2:

Your advice about Anaconda is good to know. Perhaps this information could
be added to the Install Leo page in the Leo documentation?

Everything seemed to be fine, and Leo started up
