of "user at command-line", even Ctrl-C does not help. Ctrl-D helps &
logs out but when i do:
su - lfs
to login, i get same error. what could be the trouble?
also why a "space" after "$" in "PS1"?

USER" i own "$LFS/sources" & "$LFS/tools" but not "/".
what do ".." mean? "." represents current-directory. from error i
guess 2 dots dont mean anything. right now i am making
build-directori
UNTARRED directory then you you do
"./configure" not "../glibc-2.3.6/configure" (which shows that you are
outside of UNTARRED directory)
