Couldn't agree more with Nino's answer.
If people are loosing data (i.e. typed words while not looking at the
screen) then there is a problem.
It is NOT a BUG but it is clearly a LIMITATION. It must be possible to save
in the background while input continues... Obviously the words typed since

So, the answer is B) grammar check is not usable at all only spell
checking is performed (which means that the menu option name Spelling and
Grammar is misleading)

I can confirm the same error under Windows XP Pro x86 Sp3 en_US using 4.2

If you click on Characters before line break: 0 and then click on the Edit
button you also get the Hyphenation dialog with Characters before break: 2
