I think it's fine to keep closed now. LO5 will highlight strings without quotes
yellow until i close thwm inside quotes.
I think that's a good way of showing the query isn't completed so my original

I just tested on 5.0.2.2.
If i add double quotes to my formatting it will work correctly now.
The problem i still have is that by default calc will add single quotes to
string values and i have to change

For me it doesn't matter whether values are created before or after the
formatting is created. They are always wrong unless I manually add double
quotes.

i was just putting the value y / n /etc into the value section.
LO is adding the single quotes when i save the formatting.
