Hello,
I ask for this problem at last week, but too complexly :-(
Well, I ask simply
Is some possibility to disable automatic vertical shifting of rest symbol in
case of two voices in one stave?
I can't use \rest - impossibility generating of multimeasure rests
I can't use \skip or "s - type" of
Using globals helps me save a lot of typing and makes time and measure
number mistakes far less likely. Is there a way I can eliminate the
extraneous 4/4 and extra bar line at the end of this example?
TIA,
Paul Scott

No, please don't! ;-)
Note that the recent mail bombing was the cause of a worm, not spam.
The worm is using user addresses from subscribers; subcriber-only

The current amount of SPAM on the Lilypond list sometimes make me ponder
with the idea of unsubscribing. We have to be friendly to old-timers

Hello,
I have two questions:
1. How do I avoid the following warning or what is the correct syntax
for no numbers instead of "s"?
It works, though.

warning: Junking event: `SkipEvent':

2. How can I put the numbers above the staff?
Thank you
